Pumpkin Patch
We had a great time running around the pumpkin patch last weekend. Every time Lily saw a tub full of pumkins she took it upon herself to empty it. She was all over the place, but she turned that little head each and every time I tried to take a picture. Don't they make slow-people kind of cameras??? I can't even begin to explain how much fun this precious baby is to have around! What a beautiful blessing!!!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN:)~

Slow down..............
New family member
Jordan got a dog for his birthday, and he could not have been more surprised. He named him Maverick (surprise, surprise), and he was a rescue dog. Poor baby had been thrown from a car...crazy huh:( We are really enjoying him and praising the Lord that he finally helped Lily get over her insane fear of dogs!! He's a good boy!
What's that???
Even though her brother doesn't quite realize it yet, this little girl thinks he hung the moon. It doesn't matter what he is doing, Lily just stares in awe! She is defninitely going to be the little sister who follows big brother around when his friends are here tyring to do "guy" things. Bless her heart...she just loves him the most!!!
My crazy babies:)~~

More Mexico...
Traci and I were grateful for our "quiet" time on the beach while the boys took off to the Ruins. I'm thinkin' that Ziplining was a blast...at least that's what I was told:) There are a couple pics where Jordan doesn't look quite sure about it all. He swears it was awesome though!! Check out that water in the cave...it's gorgeous! Erich, the bald one (sorry Erich), gave the tour guides a run for their money when he took his turn on the line. They were calling the guys at the bottom on the radio warning them that a "mucho gordo" was coming and coming fast! They laughed for a while about the look of panic on their faces as he came in for a landing. Thanks for the laugh(s) Erich! We are so glad you guys went with us!!!! We're ready for our next endeavor:)~
Good Times in Mexico!
These are just a few of the pics from when the boys went to the Mayan Ruins. They said that the water in the cave was terribly cold but beautiful. They spent the entire day there but enjoyed every minute of it. I heard many cool stories about the Ruins as they were impressed with their tour guide who, by the way, knew 4 different languages!

Is she really already 1-year old?!?!?!?!?!?!
How 'bout those cakes!!!
Aren't these precious:o The first one is Lily's "smash" cake. I couldn't pass that up! She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do with it, but we got that ball rollin' quickly.
This is her actual birthday cake. I loved it! It turned out so much better than I expected. Look at that detail! I have to say it's just a little better than whatever homemade "think" I would have come up with. They did a beautiful job and it was mighty tasty! In Robbie's words...we tore it up!!!

Just one week shy of Miss Lily's 1st birthday we went to Possum Kingdom Lake with Mimi and Papa. The 2-hour drive up there was pretty miserable for her (and us!!!), but once we got her on the boat it was smooth sailing. Lily loved watching Bubba do his tricks on the wake board and tube. She kept trying to climb to the back of the boat to get to him. At one point she climbed all the way back there just to try to take a nap...while the boat was crusin'! After a much needed nap and a good lunch, we headed back out on the water. Lily cheered and cooed as her Bubba flew all over the place on the tube. J is so good at all that!!! I was totally impressed:)~ Then, it was Lily's turn. I got on the tube with her while Papa pulled us very slowly back to the lake house. She absolutely loved it! When we got back to the dock, J came swimming to us and I got off of the tube. Not thinking, Lily rolled off the other side of it! I know, I know...someone should call CPS on this bad mom:( Anyway, Bubba was quick to the rescue and had her laughing in about 5 seconds. Whew!!! He (and we) calls himself a hero for his quick thinking:) We then swam for about 15 minutes before getting ready for the dreaded 2-hour miserable trip back home. Yep...it was a rough ride. Lily was not a happy camper, and everyone was exhausted. It's hard enough to go to the lake with all the work that goes into to it, but try it with a 1-year old! Yikes:) Needless to say she slept very well that night, but of course, her worry wart mom kept checking on her, worried about the whole "dry-drowing" thing that everyone is making a big deal about lately. But...We had a great time and look forward to going several more times before school starts again. Thanks Mimi & Papa!!!
